When she is not practicing law, Katy enjoys spending time with her family. Most of her free time is usually dedicated to driving her two daughters to dance, soccer and lacrosse practice.
Kathleen E. Byrne
Katy concentrates her practice on land use, zoning, environmental, administrative law and related civil litigation. She represents individual homeowners, communities, small and large business regarding land use related matters. Before joining Hyatt & Weber, P.A., she was an Assistant State’s Attorney, Baltimore City; Assistant County Attorney, Anne Arundel County; and Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Army. Katy was the recipient of the Anne Arundel Bar Association’s 2006 President’s Award.
A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, Katy also completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland. She served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James J. Lombardi, Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Katy is active in the Anne Arundel County Bar Association and has served on its Board of Trustees since 2005.
