Anne Arundel County adopts green requirements for certain government buildings

July 28, 2009 - On July 20, 2009, the Anne Arundel County Council adopted Bill No. 53-09. The legislation requires most new or substantially renovated County buildings to be "high performance" - meeting or exceeding the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver rating.
