Anne Arundel County plans to implement new state stormwater managment regulations
September 09, 2009 - Beginning December 1, 2009, Anne Arundel County will implement the new state stormwater management ("SWM") regulations which were adopted by the state on May 4, 2009. The new regulations will apply to all minor, sketch and final subdivision and all Site Development Plan applications that are received by the county on or before December 1, 2009. All applications that are under review prior to this date will have until May 4, 2010 to obtain SWM Plan and Sediment Control Plan approvals.
