Hyatt & Weber’s Mark Rosasco obtains considerable award for client in personal injury lawsuit
December 15, 2009 - Hyatt & Weber's client, an electrician, was working at a job site on a forklift when the fork separated from its mount and caused the client to undergo a traumatic partial amputation of three toes. Defendant refused to offer the client a settlement in his personal injury lawsuit, which lawsuit alleged the corporation failed to perform a safety inspection prior to leasing the machine for use at the job site. The case was tried by Mark Rosasco to a jury in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. The jury found in the client's favor for $223,000, including $200,000 for pain and suffering.
