Robert D. Miller joins Hyatt & Weber, P.A.
February 08, 2010 - Hyatt & Weber, P.A. welcomes Robert Miller to the firm. Mr. Miller focuses his practice on land use, zoning, environmental and government relations issues. He has extensive state and county regulatory experience in the following areas: tidal and nontidal wetlands, water rights, surface and ground water appropriation, floodplain management and regulation, dam safety, coal and non-coal mining, Critical Area regulations, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, environmental dredging, reforestation, stream restoration, solid waste management, development and zoning. Mr. Miller has developed and testified on land use and environmental legislation, regulations and programs at the state and local levels of government. Prior to joining Hyatt & Weber, he served as Anne Arundel County’s Land Use and Environment Officer, as Director of the State of Maryland’s Water Resources Administration, as Program Director for Environmental Services and Waste Management with the Maryland Environmental Service, and most recently as District Manager of the Anne Arundel Soil Conservation District. Mr. Miller received his law degree from the University of Baltimore and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in resource planning and management from West Virginia University.
