School Capacity Legislation
December 14, 2007 - The County Council will conduct public hearings on two bills regarding school capacity issues on Monday, December 17, 2007 at the Arundel Center, 44 Calvert Street, Annapolis. Bill No. 91-07 (Subdivision and Development – Adequate Public School Facilities – School Utilization Chart) is an emergency ordinance which proposes in part to revise the manner in which the School Uitilization Chart is used to determine the adequacy of public school facilities for purposes of how the subdivision of land is prepared and approved. In addition, Bill No. 90-07 (Adequacy of Public Facilities- Schools) proposes exempting minor subdivisions from certain adequacy of public facilities tests.
